Basically i would like to know how to convert a 3d mesh generated in star ccm+ to OpemFOAM You need to export as a ccm file (normally a ccmg - for geometry) and then use a convertor such as ccmToFoam (in the www openfoam com version), for which you need access to the proprietary libccmio library

It is my understanding the star4ToFoam requires the “ProStar” mesh I am not sure what output extension would that be Based on some google search, it seems that the “ProStar” mesh is the cel extension So I tried exporting the mesh with the cel extension as seen in the “StarCCM_export” screenshot
