My jar file and application is just Shimeji (which I spelled correctly in the target line so I know that's not the issue) Do you know what I'm doing wrong? When I try to just open the Shimeji application, it says something about Java 6, but I have Java 8 Could that be the issue? Thanks :)

I'm thinking of going back to creating shimeji, what are people using as the base of their shimeji nowadays? I used to use the original Shimeji and the fan translated Shimeji-ee, but I recall that being less compatible with newer systems, or troublesome to distribute because of the need to install the right version of java for the shimeji to run properly I notice a lot of people posting about

Then I found out there's this thing called Shimeji-EE that updates them and translates to English That should work, right? no Same problem I haven't even tried running it with the old shimejis yet, just the default Shimeji-EE I updated Java and have Shimeji-EE in my C: directory What's the problem?
