I currently use Smartwool PhD ultralight merino wool hiking socks for my thru hikes the problem is the durability of the sock is not what I expect for the price point also, because it is so thin and light, my foot tends to shift inside my shoe a fair amount on the flipside, they dry quickly darn tough seem to be a popular alternative

Hello all I have read a lot about socks and have made the decision to go with the Darn Tough brand I am planning on using the injinji toe sock liners as well i normally wear thick wool socks year round and am curious what you all think as far as which pair to get of the Darn Tough socks How thick are the Injinji liners?

I am considering two pair of the Darn Tough Merino Wool Hiking Socks as I have had horrific issues with blisters over the years Do they run true to size? I wear a men 11 wide boot (foot size is anywhere from 10 5 to 12 depending on the make ) Thank you for your positive feed back
