- What Was The 757-100 767-100? - Airliners. net
When the 757 767 were first offered to airlines in the late 70's, Boeing current models -- the 722, 732, 742 -- were selling well, while the earlier models 721, 731, 741 were out of production indeed were not fairing well on the used market The conclusion? All Boeing -100 models were seen as being unfashionable, particularly the 721 As such, Boeing decided to focus the baseline 757 767

- Boeing 767-100 - Pictures Drawings? - Airliners. net
I've read about Boeing's 767-100 that was supposed to b launched together with the 767-200 The -100 was supposed to b shorter, but how much shorter? I think the -200 is short and stubby enough: So does anyone know how much shorter it was supposed to be, and are there any drawings shecmatics of it online? (I presume a 757-100 was planned originally too)
- Does Anybody Have Drawings Of 757-100 Or 767-100?
Boeing did at one time think of a 757-100 and a 767-100 Does anybody on here have any official drawings of what those planes would look like? Also does anybody know some of the specifications on these planes? Length, range, capacity, weight etc All would be appreciated
- Was There Ever A 767-100 Or 777-100? - Airliners. net
There were design studies for the 767-100 and 777-100 The 761 was a shortened 762, intended to serve the same payload capability as the 752 The 752 was much more efficient so the 761 was dropped The 771 was intended to serve the same markets as the 772LR such as SIN - LAX and SIN - JFK
- 767-100: do you have anything more about it? - Airliners. net
Back in the day Boeing originally launched a new widebody jetliner called the 767 with plans for a series 100 and a series 200 The -100 had a rather similar capacity to the narrowbody 757, so they decided there wasnt much point to having it and axed the program The 767-200 became the standard 767 with later models being formed from it including the -200ER, -300, -300ER and -400ER Since then
- Boeing examines GEnX powered 767 - Airliners. net
From the article: "FlightGlobal has learned that the study, with project name 767-XF, is based on the 767-400ER platform and powered by GE Aviation GEnx engines To accommodate the larger-fan engines, the aircraft would incorporate extended landing gear to provide the necessary ground clearance " "Sources indicate that a passenger 767-X development is also part of the project, which Boeing is
- Why Not -100? - Airliners. net
So the 757-100 and 767-100 never went into production, that's why they never existed Neither did the 777-100, Boeing has thought of it as a shrink version of the 777-200 but it has never been made
- What Happened To The 787-100 - 700? - Airliners. net
Boeing did study a 757-100, 767-100 and 777-100 (which all would have been shrinks), but their economics proved unfavorable so they never entered service (though the role of the 777-100X was eventually filled by the 777-200LR)
- 757-100 - Airliners. net
The history of the 767 is the same, the 767-100 was a shortened 180 passenger version, with the 767-200 holding about 40 more passengers Again early adopters of the 767 all wanted the higher capacity model, and the 767-100 was dropped
