This appears to be a not so uncommon occurrence with Synchrony's pre-approvals I've seen other posts with similar outcomes It happened to me with their CareCredit card I checked pre-approval one day and it was $17k, so I went back the next day to go with that option, but when I did the pre-approval again it came back with only $6k

A couple weeks ago I used the Rooms to Go Pre-approval tool to check and see if I would be approved for this card I have 6 synchrony accounts dating back as old as 2017 Ive never been late and I have zero balances on all 6 cards I hit to continue the app bc I want the card for upcoming furniture purchase

Re: Verizon Visa Approval Less Than Pre-approval If I recall correctly, Synchrony will tend to only allow a partial limit until you activate the card Did it say the $2500 was temporary? Also, they're pretty quick to add to your credit report so that will show the full definite amount
