Also what is the site "cs2 browser" about? Why does that site show way more servers than the official CS2 server browser? is the CS2 browser borked or something? Should I be using that website for joining servers instead of the built-in server browser? Sorry if these are dumb questions, like I said I'd rather be safe than sorry

Open the community server browser (you can do this from ingame, the button is next "practice", or without opening CS2: from Steam, top bar options, View, Game Servers) Make sure Counter-Strike 2 is selected, click on the magnifier The server browser will be populated with servers from CS:GO and CS2 Sort the list by Game Scroll, until you see Counter-Strike 2 as a game Select desired server
