I think the issue with the ufo one from the first season was that it happened so long ago that no one thought to gather information and a lot of potential witnesses had either died or moved on

The Falcon Lake Incident (Season 5, ep 8) I don’t know if the other stories are Canadian but that story is from Manitoba! Manitoba Parks offers a UFO guided hike near the area where a park ranger tells the story of what happened and shares photos of Stefan’s diagrams It’s pretty interesting!
