How do I stop fastrak from automatically charging me? It supposedly calculates an amount that it thinks I will use for the next quarter but I already have enough money on it It charges me a different amount everytime and sometimes I'm scrounging up money till my next check Then I get charged and I have more debt It's kind of messed up

I got a FasTrak toll invoice in the mail As stated above, this is a mistake on their end as this definitely wasn't my car Supposedly "my" car went through the toll booth on December 2 The black and white photo on the invoice is extremely blurry It is SO blown out with white that I cannot make out a single digit

Fastrak will happily charge your account based on reading your license plate, so you can even keep the device at home Here they will hit you with a surcharge if they have to fall back to license plate reading more than 15% of the time haven't been hit with it once keeping it in the glovebox though

I don't use FasTrak enough to auto-replenish or pre-pay, but a privacy com debit card helps avoid surprise charges on my end I only pay after receiving a notice by mail: log into privacy, allow $7 per transaction, pay, set back down to $7 per month or year Maybe some banks offer similar features? Stunned that I somehow owe Fastrak upwards of $5000?!?! Called to settle a minor dispute and the customer service rep let me know I have about $4000+ in violations and fees This is impossible because I've always had an active Fastrak account and toll tag attached to my vehicle
