XBox app working again An hour or so later, I'd done nothing else to the system Rebooted it And XBox app is broke again Looked in event viewer and it had auto updated the Gaming Services So I assume that must be whats causing it But no matter how much I try to uninstall thoroughly and reinstall Gaming Services it doesn't fix the issue

open Microsoft Store > Library > Gaming Services showed up as needing an update so I did that, then my Xbox app was finally back to normal The second powershell command in the forum post above just brought me to the Microsoft Store page for Gaming Services, but it just said "there is an error" and I couldn't update it from this page

The description for Gaming Services in Microsoft Store is worse than nothing IMO They're not trying making people think this is essential for gaming apart from the name The PowerShell command is so inconsistence that two very basic command Get-AppxPackage uses -Name but not -Package, while Remove-AppxPackage uses -Package but not -Name
