I remember reading a post here not too long ago actually about someone who had a similar experience with their Citi application Seems to be a Citi situation though since there are a few datapoints that a poster on Doctor of Credit discovered a new inquiry rule

Re: Citi Costco denial - why? What were the reasons for denial? Are those your fico scores? In times like this the 40%util on one card and late student loans (even though they are old) could scare off many lenders What is the balance on your auto loan or the util?

Card is near maxed at 85% as 90% is considered max so they are reducing their risk Its unfortunate, but if carrying for quite a while and smaller payments they got cold feet

Weird Citi Experience - Approved then Under Review I received a pre qualified mailer for the Citi Custom Cash card and wanted to take advantage of the 5% cash back on top spend category benefit I applied for the card using the QR code on the mailer and it opened the Citi Mobile app

Does Citi let you transfer available credit to another card? I was thinking of applying for a Citi Diamond Preferred or Simplicity for the 18 months 0% interest I'm having the siding redone on my house and I'd like to be able to pay it off over 18 months instead of up front

I have the Citi app, and I'm trying to set activate my new card through it I succeeded in activating it, but the app is telling me to create a new username and password It won't let me enter my current details I don't want to create a new account--I just want to add the new card lol I'm probably
