Ive been using carl bot for autorole and other role related things in many of my servers but this time the autorole isnt working Ive used my alt to test and it wont assign the role upon entering the server, ive redone the role a few times and it still didnt fix it Does anyone know how to solve this issue-?

Check whatever role Carl Bot has permissions to within the channel the reaction message is in, and also ensure that role has permissions to add reactions

Can someone point me to some instructions on how to use Carl bot to make a menu so people can choose their colour? My daughter has set up quite a bit already but has got stuck giving people a choice of colour… Any pointers would be appreciated

I recently got carl bot on my server but for whatever reason he won't send welcome messages I don't know what options to change I have the channel set and greetings turned on but it won't work and the bot has permissions in all the channels, I turned off sending messages about people getting roles and things like that is there anything I accidentally turned off that needs to be on?

Im making a new server and im trying to make some reaction roles but carl bot wont post them, i've tried changing the roles, moving carl bot above the role im trying to give, etc, but its not working, is there something im doing wrong?

Carl-bot is basically best for experienced users as you can set a lot of things there and also make whole custom commands, systems, etc for free Probot is good then for welcoming messages, leveling systems and such I would recommend you Dyno or and Wick for moderation, 2 really reliable bots from my experience

I set up new joins on my server to have "unsorted" role and being able to see 1 text channel where they react assign "Green" or "Red" role, using Carl bot How can I then remove that "unsorted" role once people choose Green or Red?

The owner, Carl, left the company a while ago and since then it's absolutely been a shit show behind the scenes I won't get too much into the drama that isn't relevant to users of the bot, but I will say the bots themselves are machines to peddle advertisements to you

Dyno and carl bot are both good choices Dyno is good moderation bot, and carl is also good at it with some extra features I usually prefer dyno, since its easier and simple, and carl is indeed harder to use, but I guess you can just learn with it Flantic is also a choice if you want your server to be automatically moderated by bots
