- Issue with Canvas Login Page - Instructure Community - 627037
I am writing to report an issue with the Canvas login page for our program As shown in the attached screenshot, the page displays large text saying "Instructor" overlaid on the interface This obstructs us from logging in properly

The only thing I want is the ability to generate a secure link from the external webapp to let the user directly logged in into their canvas account without having to reauthenticate with their canvas login password

If you have an external authentication system set up and one of your users clicks on the Forgot Password button on the Canvas login screen, it will let you put in an email to send a reset password link but it's likely the email will say that the password is managed by a different system This is what Kona is talking about
