Is grass completely scrapped off the deck for maximum lift vacuum? Are the spindles performing at 100%? is the deck drive belt slipping or loose or the decl pulleys worn? Even in 1999 blade tip speed was at or near 18,000 fps there's nothing wrong with the trivantage deck…there's something wrong with YOURs

Overall I'll put our trivantage up against the ultracut and the ultracut kicks the pants off the trivantage The trivantage deck will need to be scraped 4 times before the ultracut gets logged up

I use the 60" TriVantage, and 60" Ultracut and they both cut well and rarely need the deck scraped if cutting clean grass But after cutting that did you double cut the opposite direction 1 2 inch higher running wide open? Thats what I've always done running Hustlers, Grasshoppers, Exmarks, Badboy, and a few others in that type of grass

A replacement trivantage (or whatever they stock as a replacement) from exmark is 1900++ there a guy on ebay in dallas that has a triton 46“ for 600 Ive read the good and bad about triton decks, never used one myself, willing to risk that aspect Does anyone know if a triton 46 will fit on the exmark toro 44” mower frame?

Unless I am completely mistaken the Ultracut 2 is the same deck as the old Trivantage although there has been a discharge baffle added to the new deck Check with your dealer to be sure

Mine has the trivantage never used the pistol grips myself but the ecs will wear your forearms out but i like it It keeps good arm and grip strength while you work 1500 is fair but i would still go for 12 or 13 and see what happens
