Canada Post doesn't want you sending CDs or DVDs in Lettermail Other than that there doesn't seem to be a problem sending physical items that aren't actual 'letters'

Canada Post's postal money orders (basically equivalent to a bank draft) are essentially a banking product They have been a thing for decades The cash deposit thing with Wealthsimple isn't new to Canada Post either, they've been doing the same thing with Koho for quite a few years now So Canada Post isn't "getting into" anything they weren't already doing
