- Error after stopping DHCP and DNS on WS2008
I have a WS2008 that was doing DHCP and DNS as well as being a DC I've decided to let the router handle the DHCP and DNS, so I disabled those two services on the server and enabled them on the router Now when logging in, users get a message that " There was a problem with your roaming profile You have been logged on with your previously saved local profile " How do I correct the server and

I have rebooted the system and even ran the SP conifg wizard again but the issue continues to crop up The service says it's running but no timer jobs are being run on the server Also, if I try to restart the service it hangs on stopping the service and never comes back Monday, April 30, 2012 12:39 PM

Checking on this service, it indicates that it is starting stopping, but never getting to the running stage I have tried everything that I can think of, including uninstalling and re-installing the software I have scoured the internet looking for solutions, but not finding one that will take care of the problem

We found several SCCM 2007 R2 clients that had duplicate GUIDs, we got most of them cleaned up but there are a few that will not reinstall

I've had pretty good luck with removing any orphaned connectors via direct SQL query then re-running the affected connectors The other tricks of stopping the health service and clearing cache only worked for one specific instance for me Can't remember where I found this fix, if anyone has a link somewhere I'd like to give credit for this

I managed to clear the problem by emptying the cache on the problem computers it seems it was stopping the download because it had it the cachesize limit Friday, June 14, 2019 6:50 PM
