Blackhawk Lake is a 220 acre man made lake with a maximum depth of 42 feet It offers anglers excellent fishing opportunities throughout the year Bluegills and crappies are very common Largemouth bass, walleye, and northern pike are present as well A perch, pumpkinseed, bullhead, catfish, or carp may also find its way to the end of your line All anglers must have a valid fishing license

With a total of 72 sites, the main campground is the largest camping area in the park We have large, spacious sites with plenty of room for yard games The main campground has one large shower house facility along with one smaller flush toilet facility It also features a large playground with sand! Blackhawk Lake Recreation Area offers excellent camping opportunities with over 150 open and wooded campsites We have a variety of campsites for campers, tents, and large groups that span over the 330 acres of our recreation area

Cancellation Policy Cabins 1-4 are located near the southeast side of the lake where guests can take in the sunrise, watch the boats go by, or just enjoy the quiet, lakefront view from the front porch!
