Re: CAI Mosin-Nagant Sniper Yes if buying thru a dealer that is a decent price, plus you get to check the rifle a little, (Bore, Scope mount, Etc) Be aware that if the sniper scope is mounted on a Hex reciever it will probably be approx 1 8" off center line of barrel so they tilt those scopes left a little to center it

Re: CAI-3 HK G-3 clone not cetme? here is a close up of the rear sight and the reciever,notice it does not say CETME it says CAI-3,the bolt and carrier are G3 not cetme,as i can see there is not 1 cetme part that i can find

The older CAI Tantals are the ones with the keyholing issue Just make sure you get one that is model #RI-1576 or higher I have a RI-1576 model acquired earlier this year, and it is a great rifle for the money Everything is nice and straight, the magwell is nice and tight, the trigger is crisp, and it does not keyhole

This is the only CAI Yugo that I have ever seen that did not come with the G2 group However, just to double-check, look at the trigger, it will have "G2" on the side

Yes the story is true Century imported a lot of Imbel receivers without the desirable Gear Logo of Imbel Many people see the Century stamp on the receiver and walk away from what is probably the best receiver made for FAL's Very desirable rifle, if you know what you are looking at and know all the ins and outs of the FAL world Only thing wrong with it is it says CAI instead of the Imbel

It is a CAI build, but it appears to be pre 922r days Side of upper reciever is stamped L1A1 and really tiny "sporter" Cal 308 then beneath that CAI blah blah blah I am more concerned with the "optic" on this rifle and would like to at least get it back to iron sights first Rifle #2 is a HEAVY!! seriously

Anyone here build out a CETME C parts kit from Apex? Looking to get some thoughts tips tricks before I decide if I want to try my hand at it New to rifle building and the price tag caught my eye (sub $200 for parts kit including 10 mags) Would it be worth building out vs just buying a complete CAI rifle for $750 ready to go? So far the only issue I see with building out is getting a barrel

What would the approximate value be for a used NORINCO AKM-47S 7 62X39 EARLY IMPORT? Anything to be concerned about regarding this particular rifle? The only Hungarian AKM variant CAI offers right now is the AMD 65, which historically is a tanker rifle whereas the SA85M you speak of is a more traditional full stock rifle You can change your thumbhole stock but you should Google section 922 (r) to keep on legality On a side note, the only importer company of pre ban Hungarian SA 85s was
