System protection can only be turned on for drives that are formatted using the NTFS file system Turning off system protection for a drive will delete all restore points created for the drive It is highly recommended to leave system protection turned on for your Windows drive (ex: C: ) to quickly restore Windows 11 back to a previous restore point as needed
