- 5600X Price drops? : r Amd - Reddit
The drop in new GPU sales is almost completely unrelated to CPU's It's because miners are no longer buying, and instead flooding the market with second hand GPU's, and the prices of GPU's are still dropping so people are waiting, AND a new generation is coming which still means a lot more performance for the same amount of money, to a far greater extent then is the case with CPU's
- Does it make sense to buy a Ryzen 5 5600x now? : r Amd - Reddit
There isnt a price parity 12400F is $180, 5600x is $229 (at some retailers) Yes the 5600x is slightly better in some cases, but not worth the price difference And when you start stretching the budget $50+ it creates further issues, like why buy a $230 5600x when you can get a 12600k(f) for $270, only $40 more and it sweeps the floor against

- Ryzen 5 5600 vs 5600X : r buildapc - Reddit
However, given the price difference of 10 dollars, I eould say go for 5600X There's only a difference of 1-3% on average but in some games it is also as high as 5% so invest those extra 10 dollars Also, get 3600 C16 memory instead of 3200
- 5600x vs i5-12400 if price is equal? Also need Motherboard advice
It’s a very personal preference here I don’t use Wi-Fi at all, and usually the extra price for that feature is a bit pricey and comes on top of other important aspects like VRMs I also run a 5600x, but it’s nice to see ur temps low - keeps me calm to see my hardware cool and breezy
- Is Ryzen 5 5600x worth buying right now? : r AMDHelp - Reddit
Ryzen 5 5600X remains the most popular gaming CPU in the Zen 3 lineup Its got excellent single and multithreaded performance and 32MB of L3 cache, the CPU destroys most of its competitors for a price as well
- Microcenter 5600X Price Increase to $349 : r Amd - Reddit
At $349 you could get an 11400 AND a motherboard for nearly the same price as the 5600x, and get comparable performance in most games Sure if you're using a 3080 at 1080p there's going to still be slight differences, but is it going to be 150 dollars worth of differences for the 99% of people who are running cards at a 3060 level or worse?
- is it worth it to choose the 5700x over the 5600x? : r buildapc - Reddit
Okay so i have been saving for the 5600x for a while now which was around 280$ However, a supplier is having a sale right now where the 5600x is 80$ cheaper and the 5700x is around 280$ Is the performance increase worth it for buying the 5700x or should i just jump the gun on the 5600x and use the extra budget for something else in the build
- Ryzen 5 5600G vs 5600X : r Amd - Reddit
If you want to save that extra bit of money, you could get the 5600 (no letters), which has the same amount of cache as the 5600X with a slightly lower clock speed The lower cache in the 5600G would be the main factor holding you back in the long term if you don’t really need the iGPU If the price difference is negligible, though, get the
- Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x? : r buildapc - Reddit
47 votes, 95 comments true Not saying I'm totally on board, but I'm hoping to clarify- I think the person was saying if someone had like a $2k build planned and they were able to reconfigure the build or find sales or something and save them a few hundred bucks, then they didn't mind the slight upgrade from 5600 to 5600x
