Hey all! I wanted to see what people had good experience with and what I should stay away from for used SUV’s I looked online but it’s a crap shoot so I figured I’d ask some real people Im looking to buy an SUV and hopefully stay under $25k and 40k miles I think im more flexible on the miles because seem to last longer nowadays

The crv is basically a car with more space, that’s raised higher off the ground Perfect family vehicle for a 3-4 person family just looking to get more space than a sedan, should get you all the benefits of having an suv that it sounds like you need, while still maintaining a car-like quality to it (doesn’t feel like you’re driving around a massive thing, gets decent mileage

My family of 4 and 2 large dogs are in the market to buy a used SUV I’m interested in 3 rows but only if it’s a perfect fit 2 would suffice I guess My budget is 10K So far I’m very interested in Subaru Foresters (I know to stay away from 09 and 10’s engine probs lol) and Toyota Highlanders Possibly a RAV4 or Acura MDX

$25k used with $5k down @ 4% for 5 yrs is going to get you about $360-$400 monthly $40-$100 difference monthly Personally, I rather put my hard earned $5k in the new vehicle in current market Pros: warranty, looks 'cooler' than older ones, has higher value a few years down the road, and you avoid some of the used car maintenance issues

Their SUV’s have really cramped 2nd row and almost unusable 3rd row Even the new cx-90 which is the longest vehicle in its segment has less 3rd row space than its rivals Mostly people who look for compact to midsize SUV’s they look more for usability compared to driving dynamics

When I was looking for an SUV, I was deciding between the Forester, Toyota Rav 4v and Honda CRV Reddit told me to only trust Japanese car brands (except Nissans) so I did :) I have a lot of friends that also vouch for Mazda CX5's

But we really like the car so far and felt like it was the best fit compared to like luxury and non-luxury brands for our need (price, features, size, reliability) Happy Hunting! Hi, I'm planning to buy an Suv in a month's time and need some advice on which options I can consider My max budget is $40k and am open to used cars maybe 2-3 years old at max I'm currently considering Range Rover Velar, Merc Benz GLC, Acura MDX All are 2-3 years old and are in $35k - $40k price range

3, 6, and CX-5 all 2014 and later are the very best CX-9 (2016+), CX-3, and CX-30 should treat you pretty well too The 2nd gen 3 (2010-2013) is pretty solid too, esp the later years with Skyactiv For some of the above there are a couple years here and there with specific issues, but nothing terrible
