I miss the Cabelas brand too (especially the great sales) but it is what it is I buy alot of crankbaits from Bass Pro Cabelas and just this week bought a Quest Ulterra from there I buy from other places as well and where I buy depends on availability and price Bass Pro Cabelas is generally very competitive on prices

The Cabelas in Rapid City South Dakota should be the standard for all Cabelas When we stopped there last year they had an outstanding store that reminded me of the old Cabelas Everything was well stocked and the floor people seemed to be very well educated in what they were assigned to assist in selling

A good example: A number of years ago when Cabelas still made the Fish Eagle II rods I went into a bargain cave and there was a Fish Eagle II rod with about 3 inches broke off the tip The tag said original price was $89 99 and discount price was $69 99

Went to Cabelas for a new hunting jacket I was told by multiple sales employees that Cabelas brand apparel and products are only warrantied for 90 days unless you want to purchase an extended 1 year warranty What in the world is up with that?
