I've had this happen with multiple Renogy controllers I worked out the easiest way is to bypass the controller In other words, connect the solar power directly to the battery for a short while Yes, this goes against all common sense, because the controller is there to protect the battery right?

Okay so what you’re saying is that if we get Renogy’s 2000W Inverter Charger then we would be good to hard wire that into our breaker panel and structured wiring? Also, would that setup work to charge our battery off of our shore power-which is wired into our breaker panel?

I am using Renogy controllers I do not have a wiring diagram and only a few pictures Because it is on a mobile cart in a small corner of the room and surrounded by a desk on one side and a wall on the other side and back it is not very good to be able to see in detail what is what sorry

Please see my diagram, but basically I have DC-DC 50A Renogy RBC50D1S charger, Shunt 300 B02P300-Gi BT2 and Renogy ONE display connected to Shunt and BT2 I cannot get the Shunt calibrated to 100% and when Aux battery fully charged, I'm getting High Voltage alarm
