Blue Ribbon in Oakdale is my #1 but is there another in Cottage Grove Woodbury that someone would recommend for crappie fat head minnows and or waxies I've explored somewhat online but have yet to find one

I stopped by Neubarth's bait and tackle on the eve of the opener To my supprise, Ryan had a very good selection of tackle and his bait prices are fair and the scoops are healthy Great to see a bait shop on the edge of Glencoe I hope enough support Ryans shop to keep it open

Dead suckers on the tip ups are a great bait look for weed lines or even the outside s of where everyone fishes for panfish I will set one of my tip ups a 1-2 under the ice and the other will be about 2-4 foot off the bottom I also like BIG shinners for pike bait perferably Golden shinners but they can be spend,and hard to come buy

Live smelt are great bait, but I've caught a ton of lakers on dead smelt, dead cisco and live shiners and rainbows Just would be nice to know in a way that removes these doubts
