I'm working on an empty Obelisk that I plan to fill with a vibrant RGB LED in the next step, along with a sturdy base to enclose it I designed this project using Sketchup and have included the skp file for reference

I experimented with a number of heuristics, but I wasn't able to come up with a very good way to rank next moves In the end, the combinatorial solution works fine -- it's just that the solution space was unnecessarily polluted by permutations of the same visited states
